I was 59 when my boss asked me to train someone that would eventually replace me when I retire. This took me by surprise. You have to prepare yourself and the company for your retirement they said. I had never taught about leaving my job for whatever reason.

At first it shook my confidence, I lost all motivation. Everything was falling apart! Retirement I hated that word.  Who wants to retire?

A year later I was retired, out of work,  unprepared and, an  awful lot of time on my hands. Does this sound familiar to you?

My retirement funds were small and mounth ends were very difficult. I had a lot of problems to solve! The only thing I was sure of was.... no way I was going back to a nine to five job.
